Max Planck Day on September 14th, 2018

MEA participates in central event in Munich

On September 14, 2018, the Max Planck Society presents its work from different scientific fields to the public at the so-called "Max Planck Day". On this day, the Socitey is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Max Planck's Nobel Prize in Physics and his birthday: Max Planck would have turned 160 years old this year.

Max Planck institutes, located all over Germany, organize events such as exhibitions, lectures or laboratories for children. Two centrally organized events, the "science market" in Munich and a Science Slam in Berlin also show the work of different Max Planck Institutes.
The Munich Center for the Economics of Aging participates with a booth at the Science Market in Munich, along with its Social Law Sister Department. Visitors can try different health measurements devices used at SHARE, test their knowledge on the institute's research topics in a quiz and learn more about the social rights of refugees in a computer-based role-play.

The Munich Center for the Ecomonics of Aging kindly invites everyone to visit its booth at the:

Science Market on Marstallplatz in Munich, on September 14th from 11am - 7pm

Further information can be found on the webpage of the Max Planck Institute for Social law and Social Policy as well as on the webpages of the Max Planck Day (German only).
